These are no different from the usual "hero" birth myths (see Joseph Campbell for example.) as is the Annunciati­on, the Virgin Birth and the Resurrecti­on. There is no historical proof to the contrary. (no one outside of Matthew 2, for example, mentions the Magi and those myriad angels in the sky singing hymns of praise at his birth.)
