The U.S. becomes a daily shooting gallery

We receive word daily of major (San Bernardino, California) and minor (Savannah Georgia) incidents, of which the first type receives enormous amounts of news coverage and the second gets little or none. And yet, we do nothing.

And why? because we are still living in mortal fear of the powerful gun lobby NRA.

But until our lawmakers overcome this fear, we will continue to do nothing and innocent people will continue to get murdered or wounded at an alarmingly increasing rate of frequency.

The National Rifle Association has, as its goal, the desire to sell more guns and is not interested in stopping these shoot-em-ups. (Wayne LaPierre is not interested in your welfare.)

Come on lawmakers: You know what you have to do. Now do it!!!
