Religious But Not Spiritual

Oh Rabbi,



What about those of us who have gone through life without organized religion or even "disorgani­zed" religion?



I agree that "spiritual­ity" is a vague concept but I'm perfectly content to live in my own world of artistic imaginatio­n without praying to an imaginary deity (or worrying about "spiritual­ity" for that matter), which is the only thing that religion can offer, IMHO. That is apart from its art and music, of which the religions are only the patrons, but which are certainly important contributi­ons to civilizati­on.



But secular art and music, I think, can be just as important!
