'Bully' Re-Rated PG-13: Has the Movie's Ratings Win Broken the MPAA?


There is no doubt that religious groups have long had an influence on the contents of films almost from the very beginning with their anti-sex and anti-life stances. (G-d forbid that people might enjoy themselves!) The Breen and Hays offices went to ridiculous extremes to "protect our morals" although excessive violence didn't seem to bother them much.



The "f"-word is used in real life by all genders, ages and social classes. Although it is often used excessively by some, almost as punctuation, it is used and I don't see what the objection is to films reflecting that.



It's time for the blue-noses to get out of the entertainment business, as well as to stop worrying about what happens in our bedrooms! It's none of their business!
