And may I remind you all of other hard facts: The economy of the US is not wonderful but look at most of the other countries of the world.



What brought the Great Depression to an end? The WPA and other New Deal projects or economic policies? No, it was World War 2! (Frankly, I'd rather not have WW 3!)



No president or politician can do more than try to improve the economy but they can certainly help ruin it; just look at the Bushies!



Maybe an LBJ could twist enough arms to make a difference but how many LBJs are there? And even Lyndon, in the end, had to bow to reality.

Those of you who don't vote, I understand where you are coming from, but a non-vote is a vote for the Thugs and, if you want to see their return, (remember Dubya, Cheney, Rove, Ashcroft, and those other wonderful folks you loved so much?) then either vote for Mitt or refrain from voting.



No, rather than "cutting off your nose to spite your face", hold it if necessary when you vote.



Obama has had his successes and failures, just like all other presidents, but the GOP has had almost nothing but failures in recent years.
