Real Ghosts Exist To Nearly Half Of Americans, Poll Finds

Though I've long been a skeptic about the existence of gods and angels I did have an experience once and maybe twice while traveling through Europe in the late 60s and early seventies. I was with someone who did not experience it, being asleep and who was eternally jealous afterwards that I did.

The earlier experience was purely audio but the same host in an earlier marriage and house. The second involved an oval of light and an audible fluttering sound.

In my second experience, that it was corroborated the following day by the hostess made it unlikely to be a normal hallucination (others had similar experiences in that old manor house in the south of France.) but I still remain skeptical about it or at least its nature.

I can't take that common spirit photography of the early 20th century seriously and those idiotic "ghost hunter" programs that they show on the boob tube that always seem to be shot under a green light.

And everything involving mediums seem never to be well-done.
